Wild Deer Stalking in East Anglia
We currently offer two methods of stalking
- Individual outings - client stalking
- "Associate" Membership Scheme
From 1st August we can offer Fallow Bucks and Red Stags as well as Roe Buck and Muntjac stalking over some very challenging ground in East Anglia.
- All clients are accompanied by a fully trained resident Deer Manager
- All managers are experienced and have good local knowledge
- Woodland and high seat stalking available or a combination of the two
Accomodation for travelling stalkers is available upon request either Bed & Breakfast or Hotel.

Client Stalking
Join an experienced WDMQ accredited witness deer manager for the day and experience the thrill of summer stalking
The cost of an outing is £115.00 inc VAT plus £2.50 per kilo of the carcase larder weight, should you wish to retain the carcase. A full day stalking (2 outings) consists of both a morning and evening stalk, costing £200.00 inc. VAT
Clients are limited to one Roebuck per outing with unlimited Muntjac. Trophy preparation is available at additional cost, trophy fees are negotiable.
All stalkers need to have at least WDMQ/DSC Level 1 and either be qualified at Level 2 or actively to be seeking the higher certificate. Experience is essential and references will be sought. Those who wish to stalk but do not meet the standard required can attend a suitable training course run by the company.

"Associate" Membership Scheme - Deer Management Opportunities
2009/10 Season
We are currently able to offer a limited number of vacancies within our annual Associate Membership Scheme, operating across both Norfolk and Suffolk.
The Associate Scheme provides numerous deer management opportunities throughout the year and is available to carefully selected applicants only.
Unlike our previous Muntjac syndicates there are no fixed dates, instead we operate a notice period of just 7 days. All management activities must be conducted in accordance with the deer management plan for the estate.
Applicants must display both suitable experience, referees and hold WDMQ DSC Levels 1 & 2. In addition each applicant must pass a series of knowledge, safety and shooting tests prior to being offered "Associate" status.
Experience is essential and references will be sought. Those who wish to stalk but do not meet the standard required can attend a suitable training course run by the company.
The fundamental advantages of the "Associate" Membership Scheme are as follows;
- Accompanied Deer Management encompassing Roe, Muntjac, Fallow and Red deer species
- Involvement in both the formation and achievement of the Member Estate Deer Management Plan
- No restriction of carcase numbers providing all deer culled are within the Cull Criteria of The Estate Deer Management Plan
- Access to a wide range of estates by a flexible appointment system (Just 10 days notice required)

- Places limited to just 10 "Associates" ( Only 4 spaces available as at 12/08/09)
- Discount on stalking products (Winchester Ammunition, Sauer, Mauser and Winchester Rifles, Highseats, Moderators, Schmidt & Bender / Swarovski / Zeiss Optics)
- Access to DMQ Level 2 Accredited Witness and completion of Portfolio
- An agreed quantity of outings per annum
- Ability to purchase the venison carcase
- Access to butchery facilities (chargeable)

The "Associate" Membership Scheme will commence on July 1st 2009 and conclude on June 30th 2010. During this period each “Associate” will be able to participate in accompanied deer management activities across several of the estates under the control of Burrage & Associates.
